Cardboard Shelter 2010

It is with massive regret that we are writing to let you know that Cardboard Shelter will not be happening this year.

We wanted the events to grow every year and increase the amount of money raised for homeless charities but for a variety of reasons Cardboard Shelter will be taking a year out. The main reason has been a lack of response from more established artists that we had asked. We're sure that you'll understand the pull of a big name included in the promotional material is a huge help when we're trying to get as many people as possible through the doors.

Artists have generally been incredibly generous with us in the past, and we are so very grateful for this.  However, the event does come around again very quickly and we now think that the lack of response from headline artists suggests that we could benefit from having a year off and revisiting the project again next autumn/winter.

So a massive thank you to all those that have contributed in the past, and have contacted us to be involved this year. We will definitely be back next year!
